Newcastle marketing agency appointed by Manchester's Zilico supporting global plans
Healthcare marketing communications and PR agency, Onyx Health has strengthened its reputation as the ‘go-to’ consultancy for medicine tech SMEs after being appointed by Zilico Ltd, located on the campuses of Manchester Science Partnerships.
Zilico Ltd has appointed Newcastle-based Onyx Health to drive the uptake of its ground colposcopy diagnostic device, ZedScan™, a portable hand-held device using Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) technology to detect pre-cancerous cells of the cervix.
Onyx health director, Karen Winterhalter, said: “We are extremely delighted to be working with one of Manchester’s most promising SMEs, in our continuing effort to support growth in the healthcare and life science sector of the Northern Powerhouse.
“As a specialist agency, we find our healthcare expertise is a big selling point for those wanting to navigate the complexities of global markets, and the need to get in front of influencers and decision makers.”
Onyx Health will also support the company’s global expansion plans, as the uptake of ZedScan™ moves into a wider market and their product pipeline comes into fruition.
Sameer Kothari, chief executive officer of Zilico, added: “Onyx Health shares our vision, and [its] knowledge of women’s health will help us continue our momentum in what is already looking like a very positive year.”
Karen continued: “Zilico shines a spotlight on Greater Manchester’s booming science and technology community.
“With over 25 years [of] experience in developing and implementing successful global marketing campaigns, we’re ready to support any healthcare SMEs wanting to succeed.”
Onyx Health works with a broad range of healthcare clients, including life science, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and consumer health companies wanting to make a significant impact with their innovative technology.
