Skout welcomes a university, a VR company and top 50 integrated marketing agency to its list of innovative clients
Cheshire based B2B PR agency Skout has welcomed a trio of new clients, expanding the business’ regional, national and sector base, contributing to what’s set to be the agency’s highest earning year to date.
Skout has been appointed by Birmingham City University (BCU) to deliver a number of B2B content marketing campaigns raising awareness and building authority of the university’s business services. Skout will start by creating a collection of content assets to help promote BCU’s new STEAMhouse facility, which powers innovation for regional SMEs and start-ups through interdisciplinary collaborations with local makers, BCU academics and specialists from Science, Technology, Education, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). The aim of STEAMhouse is to boost opportunities for business growth and product innovation among the West Midlands’ SME, start up, creative and maker communities.
Leeds-based personalised direct mail marketing agency and top 50 northern integrated agency Gecko has also appointed Skout to deliver a B2B content strategy, which will focus on building the business’ reputation as a market leader. Using its natural storytelling approach and Triple A methodology, Skout will develop a content strategy that aims to raise awareness of Gecko’s key messaging and its recent re-brand.
Another campaign Skout has just delivered is for Shropshire-based Igloo Vision, helping the shared virtual reality (VR) company to build commercial and business awareness for its immersive VR ‘igloos’. Skout helped to promote the company’s participation at the government’s Innovate 2017 event in Birmingham as well as its global expansion with two new offices opening in the US.
In addition to this trio of wins, Skout is also celebrating its success at the North West CIPR PRide awards where it won Gold in the Integrated Campaign category for the Procurement 2020 campaign it delivered on behalf of client Wax Digital.
Rob Skinner, managing director at Skout comments: “2017 has been a very successful year for Skout and we’re continually seeing ourselves carrying out content campaigns alongside our traditional PR projects. These latest client wins are all focused on innovation in their respective fields and we will be employing a range of creative marketing and PR techniques to help support their communication objectives.”
