Superdrug named as final retailer to join £35m Sheffield retail scheme
A £35m retail park in South Sheffield is set to welcome Superdrug as the final retailer to the lineup.
St James Securities and NFU Mutual, the developers of the retail park, have exchanged contracts for Superdrug to be located adjacent to Next and Mountain Warehouse, both of which have already committed to the 146,000 sqft scheme.
St James Securities is on track to complete the scheme in April ready to handover to the tenants to fit out.
In total, the scheme will create 250 full time jobs together with 124 jobs during construction.
The lead letting agent WSB Property Consultants, in conjunction with Dovestone Land overseeing the letting process, has already exchanged contracts with Next, M&S Foodhall, Aldi, TK Maxx, Homesense, Wilkos, Pets at Home, Mountain Warehouse, Shoezone, Card Factory, Specsavers Greggs and Costa.
Paul Morris, director of St James Securities, said: “We are delighted to welcome Superdrug to the Park, as they are a trusted and accomplished retailer and a perfect fit with the retailers who have already signed up which will further enhance the shopping experience to customers who visit the scheme.”
Adam Mobley, partner of WSB Property Consultants, added: “The scheme is now 100% pre-let, the scheme has been extremely well received in the retail market.”
WSB Property Consultants LLP and joint agents Dovestone Land advised St James Securities and NFU Mutal. Mason Partners represented Superdrug.
