Print Management specialist completes rebrand project alongside expansion programme

Elland-based ABS UK Ltd have revealed a new look for 2018, following substantial growth in the last 12 months.

As part of their overall UK expansion programme, over the past year ABS have completed a six-figure buyout of a local IT company and the acquisition of technology solutions company based in North Wales, expanding their service offering and adding over £40,000 per month to their total sales revenue.

ABS recognised that their previous branding wasn’t right for their future growth plans and have therefore undertaken a rebrand, which includes a new logo and website, as well as a brightly coloured, modern uniform for staff, and distinctive designs for the company’s delivery and service vehicles.

ABS’ new tagline - ‘A better way’ - reflects their belief that when it comes to printing and copying or IT support, there is always a better way; whether that’s finding more efficient ways to help their customer base or providing a better quality service than their competitors.

The rebrand was revealed in stages, with an internal reveal on 8th January, where staff where presented with their new look resources, before an external launch on 14th March.

On their new look, ABS UK’s Marketing & CSR Director David Lees commented: “We’re delighted with how the rebrand has gone. We wanted to lose the ‘boring’ tag which is so often associated with our industry - through our new branding, we are looking to portray our personality and vision in an energetic and engaging way.”

“We’ve had an excellent last 12 months and we are on track to double our profits by the end of the 2018/19. As a result of our growth, increased service offering and rebrand we are more likely to be able to attract new clients and show them a better way when it comes to print management services.”

In addition to the new look, ABS have also enjoyed a record start to 2018, with a 37% increase in gross profit on January 2017. This has contributed to ABS’ plans to recruit another service engineer, and they have partnered with Remploy, who specialise in putting people with disabilities in work.

As one of Yorkshire’s leading suppliers of managed print, printing hardware and software solutions, ABS already have a prominent position in the market, and through this recent rebranding project hope to increase their market share across Yorkshire and beyond.
