Stockport Business signs sponsorship deal with Lacrosse Club

Cheadle based retailer, Real Stone & Tile has donated £2,000 to sponsor Wilmslow Lacrosse Club for the forthcoming season.

The tile and bathroom specialist signed the deal as part of the Lacrosse Development Officer (LDO) sponsorship programme, which will help to support the recently appointed LDO, Trevor Jackson, coaching and developing lacrosse within the community.

Wilmslow Lacrosse Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities to the sport. Bringing home several championship cups, the club also focuses on expanding the sport into schools to encourage a bigger participation in the game across the country.

This sponsorship opportunity arose from the ‘Real Stone & Tile in the Community’ initiative, launched earlier this year by co-director, Leigh Price, with the focus of getting involved in the community and helping local groups.

Wilmslow Lacrosse Club’s recently appointed, American LDO, Trevor will be the main beneficiary of the sponsorship programme, coaching in schools on behalf of the club to develop the sport in the local area. Trevor joins the team as a Scotland international goalie, with a wealth of experience, previously representing his national squad at world championship level.

The tile and bathroom suite retailer offer a wide range of contemporary and designer tiles, large format tiles, natural stone tiles, wood effect tiles, feature tiles and mosaics. Real Stone & Tile also boasts an extensive range of sanitary ware, wet rooms and brassware.

Real Stone & Tile’s showroom is located on Unit 4B of the Stanley Green Trading Estate in Cheadle.
