More Media Sales to represent The National
A Leading collaboration of five of Britain’s biggest newspaper publishers has appointed More Media Sales to represent them as an independent sales company selling their advertising propositions in the regions and nations market place.
Already effective for London agencies and their clients, this is the first time The National (which represents Trinity Mirror, mna media, Johnston Press, London Evening Standard and Newsquest) has invested in an independent sales partner outside of London and the appointment marks a commitment to helping national advertisers connect with local audiences.
Richard Hayes Commercial Director at The National explains, “Due to the continued growth at The National it was decided we needed to make an investment in how we represent ourselves in the regions and nations. The partnership structure of The National, a great example of industry collaboration in the newspaper business, meant we felt the best way forward was to use an independent Media Company which understood how we are reinventing regional papers. Having met with More Media Sales and hearing their ideas, witnessing their enthusiasm and understanding their brilliant contacts on the ground, we had no hesitation in signing them up as our strategic sales partner.”
More Media Sales which was established in 2006 is continuing its confident expansion and is going through an exciting development phase with a move to new offices in Manchester City Centre.
The National is the latest addition to the firm’s partners providing an exciting national press option by giving access to advertising in thirty market leading “paid for” daily regional titles, using one piece of national copy.
As Owner of More Media Sales Andy Garner explains “This will allow Brands and Agencies to create advertising campaigns on a national scale, whilst retaining local influence and delivering a 1.6m circulation and 3.5m national readership.”
Andy Garner and the specialist print team has over 50 years of national press experience to draw on as they take The National to important and valuable regional agencies and their clients.
Andy says, “The National is transforming media by reimagining how regional papers can work together as one big national media proposition and reinforcing the important role they have to play with audiences outside London.
The National is an amazing collaboration of media owners, who all possess respected news brands with a trusted reach into local audiences and we are looking forward to representing them.“
This is an incredibly exciting era and More Media Sales is more than ready to accelerate and prosper alongside those we represent and those we work with to help boost the Northern economy.“
