Seedrs to boost investment for early-stage businesses with latest partnership
Crowdfunding platform Seedrs has today (March 22) announced a new partnership with commercial finance broker Finpoint.
The agreement will see Soho-based Finpoint, a provider of funding solutions for SMEs, promote Seedrs’ investment opportunities to partners and investors that want to back growth-focused UK enterprises.
Seedrs will have access to growth financing opportunities through Finpoint and its partner platforms, which includes the Federation of Small Business’ FSB Funding Platform.
The company said the deal will give British businesses faster access to guidance on designing a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Seedrs investor manager, Adam Reeve, said: “We are always looking for new ways to further support and boost investment into early-stage businesses.
“Our strategic partnership with Finpoint will widen the support offering to those businesses, whilst at the same time leverage their network of investors to further drive investment into British businesses.”
Finpoint CEO Rainer Plentl commented: “We are delighted to be partnering with Seedrs, the UK’s top funder of private companies.
“This unique partnership will allow us to provide our technology-led, high quality customer service to a new segment of high-growth businesses.”
Rainer continued: “With as many as 50% of high growth businesses being hampered in their ability to scale up due to a lack of access to funding, we believe this is an exciting time for Seedrs and Finpoint to collaborate in order to better connect businesses with available investment options.”
