High Street TV recognised as an investor in people
Multi-channel retailer High Street TV has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating their commitment to realising the potential of their people.
High Street TV is a global multi-channel retail business operating in the UK and internationally.
Based in Harrogate, High Street TV is one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies as recognised by The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and International Fast Track 200. Founded in 2008 and employing over 150 people, High Street TV’s headquarters are based in Harrogate, supported by an international office in Hong Kong and a film studio in LA. Its fast paced momentum and growth has always been underpinned by the incredible people that work there.
The IIP standard sets out the criteria for a business culture of high performance through its people, including what it takes to lead, support and manage people. The sign of a great employer is a company with a clear commitment to the development and success of its employees.
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate High Street TV as the Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, and an organisation committed to achieving success by realising the potential of their people. High Street TV should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
Commenting on the award, CEO Jim Coleman said: “By gaining the IIP accreditation we want to recognise and build on all the great work that we’ve done so far, making us an employer of choice in Harrogate and the Yorkshire Region. We are extremely proud to have achieved this award and look forward to building on this success!”
