Home Style now lets you pay for carpet by cryptocurrency
Anyone buying new carpet or flooring from Home Style Carpets & Flooring in Chester can now pay for their purchase with Bitcoin alongside more established means.
The New-Crane Street based business sees Bitcoin as being no different to any other way of paying. Customers can use web app generated Bitcoin QR codes or by Bitcoin payment wallets. They just need to ask for the price to be converted from Pounds Sterling before settling-up.
Dan Evans, owner of Home Style, said: “We’ve always seen ourselves as being at the cutting edge of the industry in everything we do, from selecting your flooring and making appointments online, to offering the latest products, like artificial grass.
“Accepting Bitcoin as payment is just an extension of that really. Being an early adopter of crypto currency means we can give our customers more choice and convenience than ever before.”
Dan relaunched Home Style Carpets & Flooring in 2016 after it closed in 2009 following the death of his father, John, who had run the previous incarnation of the company in Wrexham since 1989.
