TUI launches latest summer flights schedule from Newcastle Airport

TUI UK’s first programme launch after 2017’s re-brand has revealed growth plans out of Newcastle Airport thanks to extra capacity with additional flights to Palma, Corfu and Naples for Summer 2019.

The enduring popularity of the Mediterranean is reflected in the programme. Flights and holidays to Palma and Corfu have all been added to the programme from Newcastle Airport for next summer.

This is alongside an additional flight to Naples, Italy, which has been added to support the new homeport for Marella Explorer 2, the new ship from Marella Cruises.

TUI UK’s commercial director, Richard Sofer, said: “Summer 2019 is the most ambitious programme we have ever introduced.

“We are focusing firmly on expanding access to our amazing range of holidays through an extended regional flying programming concentrated on the core destinations holidaymakers want to travel to, while offering the flexibility of holiday duration they want.

“We’ve increased our capacity by adding 30,000 additional seats and additional flights from Newcastle Airport for summer 2019.”
