American fashion brand targets UK with new ecommerce platform
US fashion retailer Tom Ford has expanded its digital footprint with the launch of a dedicated UK ecommerce platform.
TomFord.co.uk will aim to serve as an extension of the brand’s boutique stores.
It represents the first international expansion for the company’s site since launching in 2014.
The website will include Tom Ford’s entire product collection, including the firm’s accessories, eyewear and beauty range.
Founder Tom Ford said: “Since its inception, Tom Ford online has become our fastest growing distribution channel year after year.
“The site has remained a beautiful online space to display our exceptionally crafted, hand made products, while still offering the superlative service our client expects.”
He added: “It is the perfect platform to help us meet the incredible demand we are facing within the UK.”
Prior to the launch, the brand’s ecommerce platform was only available in the US.
