Wildlife charity calling for green tokens
Northumberland Wildlife Trust is calling on Newcastle shoppers to support it this April.
For, the wildlife charity has been entered into the Waitrose Community Matters scheme at its intu Eldon Square branch from Sunday 1 April.
Each month three charities are selected, with £1000 being divided between them according to how many tokens are in each box.
Each customer is given a token at the end of their transaction to support the charity of their choice. So, if anybody is in Newcastle during April, please consider dropping it into the Trust’s collection bucket and help support its future conservation work.
