Entrepreneurial Businesswoman from Stoke on Trent Announced as 2018 ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Finalists by British Superbrand

Finalists in the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category of Pitman Training’s SuperAchievers awards have been announced, after hundreds of nominations from across the globe were submitted, to the business superbrand.

The UK’s leading independent training provider, Pitman Training launched the SuperAchievers Awards to show anything is possible and to help reward people committed to driving their careers forward in a bid to inspire more of the British workforce to strive for more. Abigail Horne from Stoke on Trent has been named a finalist in the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category. This award is for entrepreneurs dedicated to building a legacy - business owners who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and dedicate their professional life to leading by example.

Abigail entered herself in the Pitman Superachievers ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category, but also received several other nominations from her husband, colleagues, associates, and women who she has mentored. A summary of their response states that: “Abigail has achieved more in her 31 years than some people have ever achieved. Ultimately, she has helped so many people and their businesses and just wants to help others to succeed.”

Abigail Horne is the owner of several companies but in her words, “most importantly, I am the co-founder of the Female Success Network community.” The Female Success Network is a membership programme with tools, resources and support to help women pursue their version of success in life, business, careers, relationships and more.

Abigail is also co-founder of ‘Authors and Co’ helping women become “best-selling authors” in their chosen industries. Last year, Abigail proudly become a number 1 best-selling author in multiple categories with her collaborative book, ‘She Made it Happen’ where she openly shared her story. With the huge interest around the book came an invite to feature in a number of publications including The Huffington Post. Via Authors and Co, Abigail now helps other women tell their story.

Abigail has battled with a number of difficult issues in her personal life but has remained resilient and now draws from her experiences to help others, stating that she seeks to “help a million women achieve their version of success through my teachings.”

Voting online via Pitman’s website is now open for all finalists - Public vote closes: Friday 13th April and the winners will then be announced on Friday 20th April.
