“We’ve got years of expertise in seating, so we wanted to create something that’s everything to do with seating that people can refer to when they’re working with clients who have all kinds of different needs. We wrote the Healthcare Professional’s Complete Guide to Specialist Seating Assessments because we wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to seating and all its various configurations and benefits.“

The company have worked with over 19,000 occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals over the years to deliver bespoke equipment solutions to a wide variety of clients. Yorkshire Care is giving the eBook away for free because they want everyone to be aware of how seating can help to improve quality of life and care.

This 88-page eBook combines theoretical knowledge and practical experience on all matters of specialist seating. With advice and tips on dozens of postural conditions and many kinds of chairs, Yorkshire Care has created a one-stop guide for all healthcare professionals to refer to when specifying seating for clients.

Gordon Hulbert, one of Yorkshire Care’s most senior seating assessors, said:

“Our team has so much knowledge to offer when it comes to seating, so we wanted to write a definitive guide that people could turn to when they needed extra information. We’ve looked at clinical and scientific studies and compared this with our experiences in the field to make sure that those who use this guide are providing the best solutions to their clients.“
