New furniture champion and design consultant for Yorkshire-based Ben Johnson Interiors
Yorkshire-based Ben Johnson Interiors, commercial interior designers, have recruited a new Design & Build consultant who is also a workplace furniture specialist.
Andy Shaw who’s 30, and from near Huddersfield, is passionate about the importance of workplace design and in sourcing the perfect office furniture for his clients at the right price. He has worked in office design and furniture supply for nearly 10 years, so is very knowledgeable about the best products and brands on the market.
Andy will be working throughout Yorkshire, the North East and the Midlands, advising organisations on space management and workplace designs for optimum productivity, practicality, comfort and aesthetics. He will also be helping clients to choose the most appropriate, practical and attractive furniture – from sit-stand tables to quiet booths and reception desks - to perfectly fulfil their workplace requirements.
He says: “Having worked in office design and furniture for quite a few years, I know Ben Johnson Interiors has an excellent reputation, so I’m delighted to be appointed. The team here has made me feel very welcome and the company has a great, friendly, fun, work-hard ethos – which suits me very well.”
Emma Dodsley, Sales Director at Ben Johnson Interiors says: “We’re very pleased to have Andy join us. He’s so enthusiastic about his work and is very knowledgeable on all the latest workplace ideas and furniture styles. This new appointment reflects the company’s growing emphasis on top quality client care and expertise and Andy is a great addition to the team.”
In his spare time, Andy enjoys a spot of weight lifting, which may help him when it comes to fitting particularly large office furniture!
