New Technical Director for OEM HTL Group

UK headquartered OEM HTL Group have appointed Bob Fogerty as Group Technical Director.

Formerly Group Training Director at HTL, Bob’s new role was a natural progression; Bob has decades of experience in the industry and is a well-respected technical authority in bolting on a global scale.

Since starting working life as an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, Bob joined the bolting industry as a Field Service Engineer with Hedley Purvis in 1990. From then, career developments in various Senior Management Positions led Bob to utilise his 28 years industry expertise at HTL Group.

The new role of Group Technical Director will allow Bob to extend a technical support platform two fold; internally to help further develop HTL’s OEM product range with the in-house design team and, importantly externally to support clients with technical queries.

Providing technical insight into the continuous development of HTL’s Flange Management Systems will also play a vital part in Bob’s new role due to his in-depth technical knowledge and constant personal development route which has seen Bob achieve BSc in Engineering and become a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

Bob comments on his new position: “Developing solutions to solve the ever changing technical demands of the bolting industry is the primary focus of my new role as Group Technical Director, which is something I have taken pride in throughout my whole career in Bolting.

I am looking forward to working with clients directly and continuing to work with the many industry professionals I have met over the years who now hold senior management positions in many organisations within the industry.“
