Recipe book to serve-up cash for heart charity

Damart are raising money for their charity partner, Heart Research UK, with the recently released Happy Healthy Heart Cookbook.

This vibrant collection contains recipes from popular food bloggers, nutritionists and even a celebrity — Sally Bee. Every single recipe has been analysed and passed by a qualified Heart Research UK (HRUK) nutritionist, meaning each and every recipe can be cooked safe in the knowledge that a heart-healthy meal is being created for oneself or the family.

With over 20 delicious starters and main courses to choose from, including Red Pepper Soup and Kale & Avocado Pesto Pasta, people will be excited to get into the kitchen and start recreating these lovely recipes, time and time again.

A free copy of the Happy Healthy Heart Cookbook can be downloaded at https://www.damart.co.uk/happy-healthy-heart-cookbook, however Damart and HRUK are encouraging a small donation per download in order to raise funds for HRUK’s ground-breaking research projects into heart health.

Until the end of April, certain Damart products are also being sold with a £4 donation to HRUK — these are featured in the book, too.

Ben Phillips, Damart’s head of e-commerce, said: “We’ve been proud supporters of Heart Research UK and the outstanding work it funds for nearly a decade.

“This year, as well as holding staff fundraising days and donating proceeds from products, we’ve also launched the cookbook.

“It’s been great to see so many fantastic bloggers and food experts come together to help create it.

“With each recipe checked and approved by Heart Research UK, we hope our customers enjoy cooking from it as much as we enjoyed compiling it.”
