Fundraising evening in aid of KidsOut charity proves a huge success
Barratt and David Wilson Homes in South Wales were among major supporters of a recent black tie fundraising event hosted by Roy Noble, in aid of KidsOut.
The housebuilder joined local businesses for an evening at Cardiff City Hall this month, raising an impressive £20,000 for the children’s charity.
KidsOut provides disadvantaged children across the UK with exciting memories to cherish. Through giving hope and building confidence in young people, the charity aims to shape a better tomorrow for those it helps.
“This is a hugely worthwhile cause, and I’m delighted we have been able to raise so much to help the charity with its vital work,” said Steve Williams, managing director of Barratt Homes in South Wales.
“It was a wonderful night with many of our friends, colleagues and associates - and I’d like to thank all those who attended for their excellent support.
“The amount raised through a special KidsOut Question of Cymru quiz, a silent auction and other activities is a credit to everyone involved. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with KidsOut and collecting more money for this fantastic cause over the coming months.”
Gordon Moulds from KidsOut added: “KidsOut’s Question of Cymru proved to be very popular, with 300 local businessmen and women attending. We would like to thank all supporters and guests for making the evening such a success.”
