Fish and chip shop to open in Hale Village.
The Really Rather Good Company trading as the WA14 Fish & Chips is opening at 120 Ashley Road, Hale this month.
Andrew Clemmet, owner of The Really Rather Good company, said: “As a resident of Hale I saw an opportunity to bring a new Fish and Chip offering to the village, something that has been sadly lacking for far too long. As Fish & Chips remain a firm favourite we hope to create a strong, thriving business that establishes itself as a food outlet focal point for the community for the foreseeable future”.
The 930 sq ft retail unit has been taken on a 10 year lease following the required change of use from A1 to A5 which has now been granted.
Daniel Lee, director, Regional Property Solutions, who acted for the landlord LMO Property, said: “This letting will assist in re-positioning the ground floor element of this asset to independent food and leisure operators, which is where most of the demand is for in this location”.
