Head to the Alhambra for wheelie good family fun!
With this year’s Tour de Yorkshire really picking up speed, a Barnsley shopping centre is also gearing up for what is set to be a great few days, with the annual cycling event starting its second stage in Barnsley.
The Alhambra Shopping Centre has teamed up with Dearne FM to host its own ‘Tour de Tarn’ (Friday 4th – Monday 7th May) and will be giving shoppers the chance to win a new bike (one adult and one child bike) or one of two £100 shopping vouchers to spend across the centre’s array of top named retailers.
To be in with a chance of winning one of these spoketastic prizes simply pedal on down to the Alhambra and take part in the cycle hunt around the centre.
Collect an entry form from any till point or pick up point around the centre, find the six bikes in shop windows to spell a Tour de Yorkshire related word, and place your entry form the competition box outside Primark.
Steph Higham, Alhambra Marketing Manager said: “We are all really excited for the Tour de Yorkshire, with it starting right here in Barnsley.
“We wanted to celebrate the event coming to the town and give away a number of prizes to create an extra buzz in the centre. Four lucky winners will be chosen at random once the competition closes on Monday 7th May!”
