New Cinema - The Light Broadway Bradford, Partners With Local Saltaire Brewery & Launches Bespoke Menu

The Light cinema, which opens on Friday 11th May at Broadway Bradford shopping centre, announces today a unique partnership with Saltaire Brewery as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting local suppliers and giving customers the opportunity to experience products made on their doorstep.

The Light will be the first Bradford cinema to offer customers beverages from the well-known Saltaire Brewery in West Yorkshire. A variety of their multi award-winning bottled beers will be available and pale ale Saltaire Blonde will be on tap - which cinema-goers can enjoy at the bar or at their seats while watching a movie.

The cinema will also be offering a bespoke selection of foods to compliment, including classic baked pies with a twist from award-winning pie-maker ‘Lord of the Pies’ and Bhel Puri, a savory street-food dish made of puffed rice, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce. Customers can also discover vegetarian pick ‘n’ mix, alongside a new spicy popcorn – exclusive to The Light cinema at Broadway Bradford.

The focus on a tailor-made food and drink offer forms part of the sociable cinematic experience that The Light offers. Visitors are able to spend time relaxing at the bar in the foyer before or after watching a film, creating a lively atmosphere.

John Wright, General Manager at The Light Bradford, comments: “Here at The Light, it’s great to be able to offer something a little different to what is usually available at a mainstream cinema.

“While we do sell all the usual cinema favourites such as salted popcorn, nachos and soft drinks including Tango Ice Blast, we believe it’s really important to support local suppliers where we can and create something unique to each location. We are also always open to customer suggestions and welcome this”.
