Bannatyne Group invests £250k into Durham hotel
The Bannatyne Group has invested £250k in the ground floor bedrooms at its Durham hotel.
The six-figure sum has been spent on transforming the 14 premium rooms to create a contemporary look, as well as improve comfort for guests and enhance the technology offering.
The rooms now provide streaming directly to the televisions, bedside charging points for mobile phones, and bathrooms with easy access shower areas.
Matthew Emery, resort manager, said: “This significant investment has completely transformed the rooms, bringing them bang up-to-date in a variety of ways with contemporary designs and the latest technological features.
“We are extremely pleased with the results, which will enrich the customer experience for guests staying at the hotel.”
The refurbishment also has comprised the fitting of new carpets, bathroom flooring and soft furnishings.
The hotel also provides guests - who book direct - with complementary access to its health club and spa, which includes a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
Justin Musgrove, chief executive of Bannatyne Group, added: “The refurbishment of the bedrooms at our Durham hotel forms part of the company’s continued investment to ensure we offer our guests the best possible facilities and services.”
