Celebrating Cinco de Mayo in style with Salome's annual sample sale
Formed in Newcastle, bohemian handmade jewellery brand, Salome will celebrate Cinco de Mayo this Saturday (May 5), hosting a sample sale at El Paso, a Mexican restaurant in Jesmond from 6pm-11pm.
The brand features precious and semi-precious natural gemstones.
Previous collections and one-off exclusive samples available to purchase for 50 per cent off the retail price will be available. The current Salome SS18 collection, Nola, will also be available, but at the regular price.
Salome jewellery is crafted with stones sourced from as far afield as California and the South Pacific, and is largely inspired by founder Kellie Daniels’ New Orleans roots.
The unique variations within the stones themselves mean that every piece is an original.
Kellie Daniels, the founder and designer, will be available to discuss all collections and take any requests for bespoke orders including custom-made wedding jewellery.
Phil Hooper, general manager of El Paso restaurant in Jesmond, said: “We are so excited to host Salome’s first annual sample sale and are looking forward to seeing all of her beautiful jewellery set up in our upstairs private room on the night.”
