Show business for CoolKit

CoolKit is celebrating another successful year at The CV Show, after showcasing its latest award-winning refrigerated vehicles and newly introduced Melform product range.

At this year’s event, held at the NEC in Birmingham, the Lancashire-based refrigerated vehicle specialist unveiled its all-new Renault Trucks Master Chilled Aero Box Body, together with a high-specification pharmaceutical vehicle complete with the new Biomed 140 insulated container.

Cameron Javed, CoolKit Sales Director, said: “CoolKit has built a reputation in the temperature controlled industry as the market leader for refrigerated vehicles. We have spent time and resources on research, development and innovation and always find new products and accessories to bring to the market. Exceeding customer requirements, providing value for money and promoting superior quality are just some of the objectives we have been focusing on.”

At last year’s CV Show CoolKit debuted their very first box body vehicle. Since then the vehicle has been further refined with numerous innovations providing a usable payload exceeding 1,200kg (net of a 75kg driver and a 90% fuel load).

The vehicle recently won Best Van Innovation at the Van Awards 2018, by offering a payload that in some cases was 12% better than competitors, meaning customers can carry more in less journeys. The pioneering product means 12% less vehicles, less drivers, less man hours, changing the customers cost base and competitiveness, especially across a fleet.

This year’s show saw them exhibit the Renault Trucks Master Chilled Aero Box Body, part of the Ready For Business Range by Renault Trucks. The vehicle was fitted with ultra-lightweight GRP laminated and anti-slip floor, a rear safety step and showcased the Aero roof curve.

CoolKit also exhibited a Mercedes Sprinter pharmaceutical refrigerated vehicle, featuring a Webasto climate control system, CurtAir – which creates a highly-effective climate separation in the refrigerated vehicle load space, anti-slip GRP floor, Transcan Advance cab temperature recorder and printer, temperature monitoring and mapping.

The vehicle also featured the newly launched Melform Biomed 140 insulated container, after CoolKit secured sole rights to distribute the Italian manufactured containers in the UK and Ireland.

CoolKit’s team have experience in designing and manufacturing refrigerated vehicles which are GDP guidelines compliant. Their perfected Pharma Van specification has created a solution which has also led to award wins for their clients.
