Thomas Cook Airlines launches two new routes to Turkey from Leeds Bradford Airport
Thomas Cook Airlines launched a new weekly flight from Leeds Bradford to Dalaman, Turkey on Wednesday 2nd May.
The new flight took off with over 200 passengers on board the A321 aircraft. A second weekly flight to Antalya, Turkey launches on the evening of 3th May.
Thomas Cook Airlines will take more than 20,000 flight-only and package holiday customers to Turkey on eight weekly flights from Leeds Bradford Airport between May and October 2018.
The two new flights come as the Thomas Cook Holiday Report 2018 reveals that holidaymakers are returning to Turkey this summer, with package holiday bookings currently up 84% up year-on-year.
Julie Cotton, manager of the Thomas Cook store at Leeds White Rose, said: “We love creating memorable holidays for our customers, so we are thrilled to be offering the ease and convenience of travelling to one of this summer’s most popular hotspots from our local airport.”
David Laws, chief executive at Leeds Bradford Airport, added:“ We are delighted to see the return of Thomas Cook Airlines and the first of their flights to Turkey take off today.
“Thomas Cook offers a wide range of holidays and flights, and our advice, given the strong uplift in bookings to Turkey this summer, is to book now to be sure of your place in the sun.”
