The Head of Steam Durham reopens
Last night (May 3), the Head of Steam Durham reopend to the public following a full refurbishment to update the site in line with the Head of Steam’s new brand style.
The venue has been open since 2009 and has always been popular in Durham city centre.
They developed a delicious new food menu served until 9pm. It includes a selection of traditional British pub classics, fresh artisan stone-baked pizzas, burgers, 12“ hot dogs and the new for 2018 ‘Besler Flight’ that consists of three light bites paired with three beers to complement the food options.
A selection of premium cocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks complete the drinks range, with all menus available online via the website, and the site a verified venue on Untappd.
Chris Soley, The Head of Steam’s owner, said: “We’ve always loved The Head of Steam in Durham, and were keen to enhance the already fantastic beer range with our popular new menu and comfier surroundings.
“Opening up the entrance has completely transformed the downstairs space, which is now much more welcoming, and our upstairs area is now a perfect venue for meetings and parties.”
