New offices will fill local demand in Chorley
Removals and storage firm Andrew Porter Ltd is developing a suite of new offices to hire at its headquarters in Adlington in response to customer demand.
The firm established its brand new self storage facility on Huyton Road in January which included several offices to hire for one to four people.
These were snapped up by customers in the area, so work has begun on phase two of the project.
Managing director Tim Aspey said the self store arm of the business was proving hugely successful.
“When we planned our self storage warehouse we wanted to pack in as many extra services and facilities as possible, in particular for business customers,” he said.
“As well as meeting rooms for hire, a range of distribution services, free wifi and an on-site café and packaging store, we developed some space into offices. These are particularly useful for traders who keep their stock with us, meaning they don’t need to leave the premises.
“We were so overwhelmed with demand that we decided to develop an extra floor into purpose built offices.”
Customers include IT companies, vehicle services firms and online and offline traders.
