Aptus Utilities to launch 22,000 sq ft HQ in Bolton

Multi-utility provider Aptus Utilities is due to quadruple its office footprint this month with the launch of a new HQ in Bolton.

The company is moving its team to Aptus House, a 22,000 sq ft two-floor office complex on Wingates Business Park, Westhoughton.

Aptus Utilities secured the Barrs Fold Road property on a 10-year lease.

Bolton West MP Chris Green will officially open the refurbished office scheme on May 29.

Aptus Utilities has around 100 staff at its head office and employs a further 180 site staff at three depots across the North West, North East and Midlands.

Depots in Penrith and Gateshead opened in 2016, adding to the firm’s existing base in Leyland. The company is currently looking for a site in the Midlands to support its growth in the region.
