Lingfield Education Trust holds first leadership conference

Lingfield Education Trust in Darlington is holding its very first education conference on school leadership in June 2018.

The Multi-Academy Trust, which comprises six schools throughout Darlington, Teesside and North Yorkshire, will head up the event focusing on School Leadership in Challenging Times. The full day event takes place on Tuesday June 12 at The Darlington Arena.

A number of keynote speakers will be there, including teacher, author and educationalist Hywel Roberts, former ISTAR Force Commander & leadership consultant Robbie Noel OBE and executive coach and leadership expert Anthony Nellis of Questline Coaching.

Nick Blackburn, chief executive officer of Lingfield Education Trust, said: “Our Trust aspires to make the biggest difference to children in all of our schools and give them the very best start in life. The conference is a chance for leaders in the education sector to come together and discuss crucial matters being faced in the education sector, both now and in the future.

“Colleagues who attend will have the opportunity to reflect, challenge ideas and consider different approaches to some of the issues we face…we have ensured the highest quality speakers, who have had a significant impact on the way we work as a Trust. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network, share ideas and best practice. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”

The event will also hold a number of workshop sessions for delegates during the afternoon, finishing with a panel discussion.
