Liverpool out ‘in droves’ for new 92m inflatable water park

Liverpool’s new Adventure Dock aqua park welcomed visitors ‘in their droves’ during its first two weeks, according to the man behind the business.

The 92m inflatable water park has attracted more than 1,000 visitors since opening to the public on May 2.

The Adventure Dock Co now plans to grow its workforce ahead of the summer holidays.

The company is looking for lifeguards with NPLQ/NBLQ qualifications, first aid training and safeguarding certificates.

Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, said: “To welcome over 1,000 visitors in just two weeks is testament to the people of Liverpool, who have come out in their droves to try out Adventure Dock.

“To sell out our opening weekend shows the true potential of an offer like this and we are now preparing for what is expected to be a very busy summer.”

He continued: “We have been flooded with requests for birthday parties and group bookings, which is fantastic and we definitely encourage that all visitors book their tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.”

As a result of its reception to date, the £200k attraction is expanding its weekday opening times to 1pm-7:30pm in a bid to attract students and working adults.
