Holborn money advice firm renews contract with Lighthouse Group
The Money Advice Service has renewed its contract with Lighthouse Group plc - a national financial adviser - to be a provider of ‘expert’ financial advice to its employees.
The contract has now been renewed and, under the terms, Lighthouse will be the preferred provider of financial advice to Money Advice Service employees, including advice on savings, investments, pensions and protection, plus mortgages.
The Money Advice Service, launched in April 2011 and based in Holborn, is an independent organisation. Its objectives are to enhance the understanding and knowledge of financial issues amongst members of the country’s public by offering guidance.
Jon Penberthy-Smith, customer director at The Money Advice Service, said: “We are very pleased to have renewed this contract with Lighthouse.
“This will enable our employees to continue to access financial planning assistance across a broad range of financial topics and will help them to make the most of their own financial planning opportunities.”
This renewal consolidates the growing list of affinity partnerships for Lighthouse, which includes major employee organisations such as UNISON, BA Clubs, Prospect, The Fire Brigades Union and the Royal College of Nursing.
Malcolm Streatfield, chief executive officer of Lighthouse, added: “The Board is delighted that we have renewed this partnership with The Money Advice Service.
“We look forward to further developing our relationship and working closely with Money Advice Service employees, who themselves are dedicated to helping others, and to assisting them with their overall financial planning requirements.”
