Leading Nuneaton firm on the move
One of the largest independent accountancy firms in Warwickshire has moved to new offices in Nuneaton.
Burgis and Bullock, which also has bases in Leamington, Stratford and Rugby, has moved to Elliot Park after 30 years in the town centre.
The firm, which employs around 60 staff, has taken a unit at The Courtyard to allow for expansion.
Sean Farnell, a partner at the firm, said the move was designed to provide more suitable meeting space for clients and modern working practices.
He said: “We had been in our former offices – Gethin House – for 30 years but the way we work is almost unrecognisable from those days and we want to ensure we are operating in the most efficient way possible.
“The move means the 10 staff who are permanently based here are all on a single floor, there is room for staff from our other offices to hot-desk, while our meeting facilities promote the right image for potential and present clients.
“Moving away from Nuneaton was not an option because of the number of local companies we work for across a wide range of sectors, and because many of our long-serving staff are local.”
Burgis and Bullock commissioned the building of Gethin House on Bond Street, and have now let it to skills firm APM which was previously based in Mill Street, Nuneaton.
