Hansteen completes first deal at Olympic Park following £750k revamp
Industrial specialist Hansteen has leased the first of its industrial units after completing the £750k refurbishment program at Olympic Park, Ellesmere Port.
Boulder Hut Limited, has taken Unit 1, extending to 17,290 sq ft at a rent of £4.75 per sq ft.
Matthew Reith of Hansteen commented: “This is a significant investment for us in the region and given the current supply imbalance and strength of the local economy we are delighted with this early success at Olympic Park.
“We look forward to welcoming Boulder Hut which plans to open later this year.”
The former manufacturing facility has been refurbished and three units remain which can be leased by occupiers as a whole or in constituent parts from 12,512 sq ft to 70,487 sq ft.
LM6 Commercial Property and Eddisons are retained agents for Olympic Park.
Tony O’Keefe, director of LM6, added: “Olympic Park provides a rare opportunity for occupiers to access facilities of this size and quality in the area.
“It is ideal for warehousing or production uses given the existing 500kva power supply and overhead cranage.”
