High Wycombe gets creative with Stampin’ Up! UK

For the second year running, High Wycombe -based craft company Stampin’ Up! UK is inviting the local community to share their creative card-making skills at the Eden Shopping Centre during the May Bank Holiday weekend (25th-27th May.) This is following on from the company’s successful “Make Something that Means Something” event at the Eden Shopping Centre last year, which saw visitors of all ages attending a pop- up gallery and card making workshop.

This year’s event is being held as part of the Wycombe Arts Festival (28th April – 3rd June) which celebrates amateur and professional arts in and around High Wycombe.
Visitors to the event will get the opportunity to make a beautiful, bespoke card to keep, and will also have the option of creating an additional one to be donated to Stampin’ Up!’s chosen charity; Butterfly House, the South Bucks Hospice. There will also be colourful card galleries to view, live product demonstrations and the chance to win one of several Costa Coffee vouchers that are up for grabs.

Paula Gorry, Demonstrator Development Manager, Stampin’ Up! UK, comments: “We were delighted by the response to this crafting in the community initiative at the Eden Shopping Centre last year and look forward to welcoming many more visitors this time around to join in the fun!

“Crafting is an incredibly rewarding, relaxing and sociable outlet and the Wycombe Arts Festival is the perfect platform for us to share these values with the local community over the Bank Holiday Weekend.”

The Stampin’ Up! event is taking place in Unit 16 at the Eden Shopping Centre, (opposite Zara and Wallis.)
