Holiday hamper kicks bank holiday off with a bang
Bradford’s Kirkgate Shopping has teamed up with its discount store retailer, Poundland, to help extend one lucky winner’s spring bank holiday.
Poundland, which is in the shopping centre’s lower Westgate mall, is offering a ‘#HolidayHamper’ featuring products such as snacks, sun cream and colourful table-wear to make the most of barbecues, garden parties and school holidays in the sunshine.
Catherine Riley, centre manager at Kirkgate Shopping, said: “We understand UK staycations increased by 23% last summer with people looking for more affordable alternatives; this holiday hamper from Poundland is a great start to the school spring half-term whether people are staying at home, travelling across the UK or to help extend that long weekend feeling!”
The hamper, which features £40 worth of Poundland’s summer collection, can be won via Kirkgate Shopping’s Facebook page. Entrants are invited to share their bank holiday plans using emojis to get creative.
The competition will run from Friday 25 May to Monday 28 May and the winner will be announced on Tuesday 29 May.
Becci Noon, store manager at Poundland, said: “We’re looking forward to giving customers a chance to win some exciting gifts to help make their spring holiday more colourful! The #HolidayHamper features some of our seasonal best-sellers so will make the perfect addition to someone’s holiday at home.”
