Performance consultancy Tougher Minds launches new office in Leeds
Performance consultancy Tougher Minds, which operates in the City of London, Europe and the US, has opened a new office in Leeds.
Tougher Minds, which delivers training to help people improve resilience, well-being and personal performance, was created by Dr Jon Finn.
The consultancy has reached over 10,000 people with its programmes during the last decade.
Tougher Minds’ current clients include national and international businesses, banks, professional services firms and companies with a large global salesforce.
In the education sector, the consultancy works with independent schools, Universities and offers well-being and resilience programmes for families.
To mark the opening of the new office within Leeds Digital Hub, Tougher Minds is staging a free event on Thursday June 21st from 6.15pm, which will present insights into well-being, employee engagement and developing an effective team in business.
During the “How to create powerful teams” event, the consultancy will also make a presentation about its ‘Team Power’ training.
Taking place in the Parkinson Suite of No1 Leeds, the event will also include a Q and A session with a panel of performance consultants.
Dr Jon Finn, Tougher Minds’ founder, said: “Many businesses and organisations are under pressure to change, innovate, grow, and achieve more with less resources.
“This event will share a range of insights into improved well-being and personal performance, which can help leaders support their people to be their best more often, and to create what we call Team Power”.
Finn, who completed his doctorate at Leeds Beckett University, added: “We look forward to meeting West Yorkshire business people at this event and discussing our work to improve employee retention, morale, engagement and develop leadership.”
Tougher Minds has also advised the Department of Education, and think-tank DEMOS on developing resilience in young people. The Tougher Minds team has also produced performance guides for national newspapers.
