New energy firm launches in Huddersfield
A new energy firm has been launched in Huddersfield to work specifically with businesses and charities in Calderdale and Kirklees.
FM Energy will be based at Independence House and operate throughout West Yorkshire.
Founder Gareth Henderson said he will be leading the business and will make further announcements in the coming weeks regarding the senior management team of the new company.
He has stated that the new company would complement the services of his facilities management business, Orchard FM, which is also based at Independence House.
Gareth commented: “Energy consultancy is a natural fit with estates management, waste and IT managed services and the new business means we will be able to offer existing facilities management clients a more complete cost management service with one single point of contact.
“Everything we currently do is focused around helping local organisations streamline their processes, overheads and compliance. Energy is an important part of any business’s operational and cost strategy and this new business is a natural progression”
He added: “I have always believed strongly in the value of relationships in business and this is why face to face client contact and long term strategic partnerships will be at the heart of the FM Energy business.”
