TOLENT HOMES BRINGS NEW LIFE TO FORMER SEDGEFIELD COMMUNITY HOSPITAL SITE
Durham County Council have this month agreed planning permission, which will see 100 new homes built on the former Sedgefield Community Hospital site. The plans will see Tolent Homes regenerate the site providing 90 new high quality executive homes for sale and 10 affordable homes for the Sedgefield Community. The development is due to start work in June 2018 with the first completions due in early 2019. The homes will be marketed under the development name of Hardwick Grange, taking inspiration from the local natural beauty and history of Hardwick Hall and Park. Having built thousands of homes for both public and private sector clients, this development will be seen as a land mark first development site for sale for the North East builder, that has built some of the most recognisable buildings across the North East such as the Beacon of Light in Sunderland and the Newcastle City Library. Regional Director at Tolent Living, Allan Thompson says “We see Hardwick Grange as an exciting opportunity to redevelop the former Sedgefield Community Hospital site. The Tolent Homes brand has been created to develop homes which meet the needs of today’s lifestyles, blending modern with classic designs. The new Tolent Homes will bring the best of our construction experience delivering well designed homes to a high quality and specification.”
