Women wellness business Glow Bar set to make UK debut on Regent Street

In a UK first, The Crown Estate is set to welcome Glow Bar London to 70 Mortimer Street, just off Regent Street.

Designed in collaboration with design firm Maker Studio, Glow Bar will open the doors of its new 1,715 sq ft space in August.

Arranged over two floors, the venue is fitted with infrared saunas and brings the “biggest wellness craze” in NYC and LA to London for the first time.

Alongside the saunas, the space includes washrooms, a cafe serving up health focused options, tonics and a customisable Elixir bar.

There will also be a boutique featuring natural beauty products that use ingredients such as CBD, to everyday wellness items such as women’s health brand HANX, Bybi and Le Prunier.

The addition of Glow Bar to Mortimer Street adds to the existing line-up of lifestyle retail and wellness brands, including DryBy, Ted’s Grooming Room, Psycle and Workshop Coffee.

Katerina Mercury, senior asset manager for Central London at The Crown Estate, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome this UK first to become part of the Central London portfolio.

“Glow Bar will be a wonderful addition to our existing health and wellbeing offering on Mortimer Street which provides an amenity, café and retail offering for the local community and visitors all under one roof.”

Sasha Sabapathy, founder of Glow Bar, added: “The idea of opening a physical space for Glow Bar came about after realizing that there weren’t many places in London that served as an escape from modern living in the city.

“I wanted to create an environment that promoted a 360 approach to health and wellness in a space that was both relaxed but fun and cool.”
