Premium French makeup brand lands at intu Eldon Square

intu Eldon Square has announced the arrival of a new makeup brand launching at Debenhams this month.

On Wednesday June 6, the Make Up For Ever counter will open at Debenhams, giving shoppers the chance to browse the brand’s latest makeup offerings.

Make Up For Ever was created by French fine artist-turned makeup artist Dany Sanz in 1984 - one of the creators of the body painting movement in Paris.

In the 1980s, there were very few products available to professional makeup artists and those available came in a limited number of shades, so Dany began formulating her own products to create the avant-garde looks she became famous for.

She said: “I dreamt of a place where makeup artists could find everything that they needed for their art as well as a collection of reliable, authentic products with professional performance.

“Now, Make Up For Ever strives to be at the service of artists, accompanying them in their various performances, [and] to help women embody what they truly are.”

The cosmetics company can be found in over 52 countries around the world and even has a Make Up For Ever Academy where Dany was able to return to her first love of teaching by transmitting her knowledge and techniques to new makeup artists.

Vikki Mather, acting marketing manager at intu Eldon Square, added: “At intu Eldon Square, shoppers enjoy an outstanding mix of retailers - from renowned department stores and designer brands to popular high street favourites and our dining quarter.

“We’re confident that the addition of the Make Up For Ever brand to our existing offering will enhance the shopping experience for our customers and prove a popular choice for professional make-up artists and beauty buffs alike.”
