HomeServe shortlisted for its commitment to innovation and its communities
Leading home assistance provider HomeServe has been shortlisted for two major regional business awards – one celebrating its focus on innovation and another for its dedication to its local communities.
The Walsall-headquartered company is shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Technology’ and ‘Community Champions’ at the Express and Star Business Awards this year, which attracted record entry numbers.
HomeServe is shortlisted for its groundbreaking Leakbot innovation in the ‘Best Use of Technology’ category. The breakthrough smart water leak detector is being hailed by the home insurance industry, with a range of exciting collaborations already in place.
And HomeServe’s efforts to raise tens of thousands of pounds and give thousands of hours of staff time to help support regional charities has led to a shortlisting in the highly-competitive Community Champions category.
Organisers have hailed 2018 one of the strongest line-ups of competing companies in the history of the awards.
And, this year, HomeServe is also sponsoring the ‘Tradesperson of the Year’ category for the first time.
“It’s an incredible honour to be in the list of companies competing for the Express and Star Business Awards this year,” said John Greaves, HomeServe’s Brand Director.
“Developing an innovation culture and daring to care for our communities is something that we try to encourage right throughout the company.”
