Southerns Broadstock Continues Expansion with Launch of Two New Specialist Divisions

Leading Leeds-based interior solutions provider and FF&E specialist Southerns Broadstock, has announced the launch of two new specialist furniture divisions.

Headed up by newly appointed industry front runner Ross Miller, Southerns Broadstock has created a dedicated laboratory division, which will specialize in the creation of laboratories for the education, healthcare and commercial sectors as well as a residential division, focused on delivering schemes to organisation’s in the hotel and leisure, healthcare, education and lettings industries.

Whilst Southerns Broadstock has previously carried out many projects within the residential and laboratory sectors, this is the first time that dedicated departments with their own team of industry experts has been formed within the company. Focussed solely on delivering projects within these sectors, the creation of the two divisions solidifys Southerns Broadstock’s dedication to increasing its offering and presence in these markets.

Ross Miller, Head of Laboratory and Residential at Southerns Broadstock, said: “I am really excited about my new role and the creation of these divisions within Southerns Broadstock. The laboratory and residential furniture sectors are growing rapidly and offer many opportunities for the business. I’m pleased to say that trade is quickly gaining momentum and we have already won a large contract with University of Kent to refurbish 273 student bedrooms.

“As one of the UK’s leading furniture manufacturers and distributors it makes complete commercial sense for Southerns Broadstock to create dedicated laboratory and residential furniture divisions. We have developed a full service offering in each department, enabling us to offer our clients a complete design, manufacture and installation service in both sectors.”
