Liverpool is getting a RuPaul-inspired drag club
A new venue inspired by popular TV drag act RuPaul is coming to Liverpool.
The former home of the popular Lomax music venue is being transformed into Out! Showbar & Club by Pub Invest Group, the leisure operator behind a number of bars and nightclubs in the city.
Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks, a source close to Bdaily said.
They confirmed that three floors of the former nightclub will host cabaret nights and a variety of drag acts.
Out! will be open seven nights a week, with an an official launch scheduled for the weekend of June 29-30.
The Lomax building is located at 34 Cumberland Street.
Pub Invest Group’s other venues in Liverpool include McCooleys, Rubber Soul, Brooklyn Mixer and Blind Tiger.
Earlier this year, the company turned the former First National wine bar on James Street into The Old Bank, a gastropub.
