Growth & expansion for Pegasus Group's Liverpool office
The Liverpool office of national consultancy Pegasus Group has moved to larger premises today, reflecting a sustained period of significant growth in the city and North West region.
Pegasus Group has more than 270 skilled and experienced staff operating from 12 offices across 11 locations throughout the UK. Their services span the entire project process from planning through to design and delivery, specialising in planning, design, environment, economics and transport.
An office was originally opened in Liverpool in September 2016 at The Plaza, 100 Old Hall Street, but today the Group has moved to larger premises at No4 St Paul’s Square, L3 9SJ.
Pegasus Group Managing Director Tony Bateman said: “The North West is a particularly exciting area of growth for us and a move to larger premises plus the appointment of two new Directors reinforces our strategy to enhance the service that we offer to clients.”
Since opening in 2016, Pegasus Group’s Liverpool office turnover has increased by more than 50%. The team has also grown to eight members of which three are Directors, including recent appointments Sheila Wright and Simon Tarr, and will be headed up by Neil Culkin.
Recent projects led by the Liverpool office include: • Helping to secure Green Belt release for housing in Knowsley. The site was formally allocated for housing in 2016 following the adoption of the Local Plan. • Planning consent at appeal relating to a landmark high rise building associated with Panoramic 34 Restaurant located in West Tower, which is the city’s modern iconic 40 storey mixed-use skyscraper development. • Securing planning permission for St. Modwen on the development of a 69,000 sq ft parcel delivery distribution hub on a 6.7 acre site at Stonebridge Industrial Estate, Liverpool.
