Wilmslow wealth manager with £800m asset portfolio grows team
Equilibrium Asset Management has expanded its team with the appointment of six staff.
The Wilmslow-based wealth manager added new employees across several teams, including client managers Laura Kenmare and Sarah Coleman, compliance associate Caroline Knight and investment analyst James Carr.
Also appointed are financial controller Joanne Watmore and technical specialist Andy Thewlis.
Equilibrium’s headcount now stands at 78, with the company’s advisers managing close to £800m of assets for more than 1,000 families.
Managing partner Gaynor Rigby said: “The latest members of the Equilibrium family have already made a great impression with existing staff and clients.
“As we grow the amount of assets we manage, we continue to ensure we are in the best place possible.”
She continued: “The six appointments will enhance our service efficiency for clients as they have been made strategically across various in-house teams.
“These hires come alongside Equinox Live, which was a tremendously successful wealth conference, and comes after we recently landed £80m of net asset wins in six months – surpassing our half year target by £30m.”
Equilibrium, which has a second office in Chester, generated a turnover above £7m in 2017.
