Indigo Group launches latest branch in heart of Newcastle

Indigo Group, the construction business solutions provider, has launched a new Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) contracting branch at an event in St James’ Park.

Newcastle’s Kevin Keegan and former cruiserweight boxer, Glenn McCrory joined around 100 guests at the event, hosted by Sky Television’s Pete Graves, to mark the opening of the new branch of Indigo CIS.

Head of the Indigo CIS Newcastle office, Paul Grigg, is now looking for two new business development managers to join the team: “We are really excited to be opening this new office and helping the construction industry of the North East easily comply with the CIS.

“We are also looking for experienced sales and business development staff to join the team and help me grow and develop the office.”

Indigo CIS’s newest office will be working with construction companies in the region, to take on the responsibility of the CIS for contractors. The company already has offices in London and Cardiff, but this is its first branch in the North East.

Indigo provides a contracting service, predominantly in the construction and recruitment sectors, stepping directly into the contractual chain offering protection and ensuring tax compliance.

Indigo CIS takes on the administrative burden of CIS for construction contractors and mitigates the risk for contractors by engaging subcontractors directly - accepting the commercial, legal and tax responsibilities of contracting services.
