Hamburg Convention Bureau Launches 2018 Consumer Initiative
The Hamburg Convention Bureau GmbH has organised a consumer pop up designed to showcase the city through its food, art and live music. Hamburg Festival will take place in September 2018.
The Hamburg Convention Bureau (HCB) is a direct subsidiary of Hamburg Marketing GmbH. The HCB was newly established in 2009 as a private-public partnership and aims to position Hamburg globally as a premium location for B2B events and to strengthen Hamburg’s profile internationally via highly visible public events. In their role as Hamburg’s official marketing agency the HCB also provides an interface between tourism and business.
A delegation from Hamburg will visit for a series of B2B events before the consumer pop up takes place. The free event has teamed up with partners from Hamburg festivals, all bringing a selection of their bands to the London stage for two days of live music.
The event will be attended by the Managing Director of the Hamburg Convention Bureau Michael Otremba and Deputy Mayor of Hamburg, Katharina Fegebank.
