Marks and Spencer announces opening date of new Foodhall in Sheffield
Marks & Spencer is set to open the doors to its newest Foodhall in St James Retail Park, Sheffield on Wednesday 27th June.
Situated on the former site of Norton College, Meadowhead, M&S St James Retail Park is opening at the new £35m retail park ahead of the wider retail park launch across the weekend of 6th and 7th July.
As well as competitive prices on items such as milk, eggs, cheese, salad and bread, there’ll be a focus on deals every week such as the M&S £3.50 Meal Deal, the famous Dine In for Two for £10 with a bottle wine and the new £10 dinner deals.
M&S St James Retail Park, which features 427 free car parking spaces will also offer the full range of M&S Clothing & Home products via its Collect in Store service.
Store Manager, Berni Barkham and her team of 50 colleagues will be cutting the ribbon to the open the store at 10am on Wednesday 27th June.
Berni, who has worked at M&S for 32 years, said: “My team and I are really excited about opening in St James Retail Park on the old Norton College site and we’ll be working hard to offer outstanding service for customers.
“It’s exciting that the store will bring a bespoke Food offer to Meadowhead for the first time and I can guarantee we’ll have all the everyday essentials customers need, as well as seasonal inspirational and innovation.
“With Collect in Store, from dresses to duvets, busy customers will be able to easily collect and return – with next day pick up available seven days a week. Cutting the ribbon and welcoming customers in for the first time will be a great moment for the team and I hope lots of local customers will pop down and join us.”
Other occupiers jining M&S Foodhall at the new retail park include Aldi, TK Maxx, Superdrug, Homesense, Wilko, Pets at Home, Mountain Warehouse, Shoezone, Card Factory, Specsavers, Greggs and Costa.
