Peninsula MD rated as the best CEO in the North West

Peter Done, the founder and Group Managing Director of the UK’s leading provider of employment law, HR, health & safety and EAP services Peninsula; has today been rated as the best CEO in the North West and the 15th best CEO in the UK.

The list created by the world’s biggest employee review site Glassdoor revealed Mr Done received the same score of approval as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and was rated higher than Apple CEO Tim Cook. The list was compiled using Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, with each CEO approval rating determined based on the quantity, quality and consistency of reviews from their employees.

Peninsula’s Group Managing Director and Founder, Peter Done, said: “This is brilliant feedback to receive from our employees here at Peninsula.”

“At Peninsula our ultimate aim is to foster and facilitate the learning and development of every employee that steps through the doors, providing leadership and a work environment that is enriching and rewarding.”

“In an effort to keep employees engaged in their work and help them achieve more success within the company we invest heavily in them”

“From their first contact at the interview stage to coming in for the company induction; new starters are welcomed to Peninsula with open arms. Free breakfasts on a Monday enable employees to start the week in the right way, catching up with colleagues from across the business and providing an incredible social atmosphere. The health and wellbeing of Peninsula employees are paramount so we offer weekly exercise classes that serve as a great way to wind down after a long day at work.”

Mr Done added: “For any budding entrepreneurs, my advice would be that a business is only as strong as the people who operate within it. This is a sentiment, which is echoed in the organisational structure that has been built at Peninsula. Our business mantra is “success starts here”, so I think it is important for any business to acknowledge that without the hard work and dedication of the talented individuals in their workplace, businesses wouldn’t achieve half of the success and recognition they receive.”
