Sale completed of Kingfisher House on Preston Farm Business Park
Erimus Insurance Brokers, an independent insurance broker and division of Teesside Insurance Consultants Ltd, is set to move into new headquarters on Preston Farm Business Park in Stockton on Tees.
Acting on behalf of owner Suffolk Life Group, Sanderson Weatherall has sold Kingfisher House, the 7,160 sq ft office building, that is located adjacent to its own offices.
Erimus Insurance Brokers is the largest insurance broker headquartered in the North East and will occupy two floors of the three story building, with Sovereign Global occupying the ground floor.
Paul Davison, commercial director at Erimus Insurance, commented: “The location of Kingfisher House is an ideal place for Erimus to operate as we expand our team and client base across the North East.
“We already have a satellite office in Newcastle, however the majority of our staff are based on Teesside and this move will further strengthen our commitment to the region. We are currently undertaking a major refurbishment programme at Kingfisher House and look forward to relocating later this year.”
George Williams, agent in Sanderson Weatherall’s Teesside office, said: “We are delighted to have secured the sale of this building on behalf of clients, Suffolk Life Group. Kingfisher House is a fantastic space for Erimus and we look forward to officially welcoming them as neighbours later on this year.
“We received significant interest in this particular sale and with the North-East office market thriving we expect to see several further deals complete in the coming months.”
